Science in the community

SCIENCE IS FOR ALL

One of the great privileges we have is spreading the science we love. We have spent hundreds of hours visiting community groups, doing outreach events, hosting community workshops and activities at summer fairs in the community since Just Good Science was founded in 2022. Keeping the buzz for science alive in the next generation is a cause that we are deeply passionate about.

Our Grant Work

We have been fortunate enough to win two grants from the Royal Astronomical Society to complete work in primary schools in our local community. These grants have allowed us to set up programmes that will serve our wider community for years to come and the resources created in these grants can be used with community groups to help foster a love of space for generations to come.

ACTIVITIES FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS

We love to visit organised community groups such as Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. We are able to offer space talks, mosaic workshops, stargazing sessions, or a combination of these! We are also able to provide packs of mosaic resources for you to do with your group. Get in touch with us to plan your session.
